Design Process

Because this film is a true party movie, and a lot of the scenes/spaces wouldn't be brightly lit, the focus of this design lay in silhouettes. Each character has a distinct shape to their looks, with a unifiying silver accent to better represent the connections they have with eachother as frequent members of the local Athenian party scene. Some of my favorite features include playing with height, femininity/masculinity, and all of the fun and excixting accessorising we used to tell each characters' story.

This project was my first foiree into international work, as well as long-distance designing. I had a wonderful Costume PA who made real-time communication possible, and carried out the on-the-ground tasks of costume prep and execution. Managing an additional team member was an incredible opportunity to practice effective communication and realising ideas into the physical world.
